He sounds a bit like a squeeky toy although it isnt like this all the time. He has no mucus and he is active when I hold him. Not to mention I just fed him today and he was quite ravenous. Any problems?

that could be a bad sign of lung problems.. or if its sneezing alot.. there could be fluid inside of its nose..

My Python gets like that. This could be early signs of a RI Respiratory Infection If the snake just recently started I would just lower the humidity level to basically non existent and keep an eye on him. Taking away his humidity will help dry him out kinda help kick the RI. If he continues to wheeze or if he starts to produce mucous then you will need to take him to the vet for some antibiotics. Its not that expensive. OR the other thing it could be is he could be getting near shed or shedding and a piece of his scale could be lodged in his nose. It will eventually pass as well though. My python is shedding right now and its funny because sometimes her whistling wakes me up at night. Not that its loud just because its not her normal breathing. Anyhow no matter what you need to keep an eye out for his wheezing because if it does happen to be an RI it can be lethal so make sure to get him to a vet if it continues after you take away the humidity. Hope this helps
