Could this be mites?? Also does anyone have any experiance with mites? or can u show me any pictures?

Do you mean like a dull clear brownish color? Shedded skin is always dull you can make out the pattern slightly of the scales. Its just shed skin.

yes shedded snake skin has an overall dullish colour to it. was it like a really dark brown? you could probably tell if your snake has mites anyway. you have nothing to worry about :
