Post subject: What types of rashes can cats spread to humans? Posted: Sat Jul 25, 2009 11:41 am |

Both of my cats have lumpy fur/rashes under their chins that have resulted in scabbing, though it doesn't appear to be causing them any itching.
I have hives on my legs and arms, but no where else. I am however VERY itchy. Perhaps this is related, perhaps not?
Can anyone tell me what this could be?
Thanks.

Post subject: How do I start kittens out eating regular cat food? Posted: Sat Jul 25, 2009 12:26 am |

I bought this "2nd Step" KMR weaning powder to mix with water like the guys at PetCo said I should do. Well the kittens aren't big fans of it to say the least. Should I mix the powder with water and regular cat food and blend it? Their mother, Poptart, has been exhausted and I'd really like to start the kittens on their own diet. They are about 6 weeks old now.

Post subject: How much cat food should cats who are almost a year old be eating? Posted: Fri Jul 24, 2009 11:25 pm |

I have two kittens who are a year old in a few weeks. I also have a fifteen-year old cat. I give them about a half a can of wet food three times a day, and keep their bowl full of dry to eat when they want. Is this too much? One of them is starting to get a little chubby, but is not really fat or obese.

He sleeps all day, won't eat, threw up and had diarrhea. ew. I'll take him to the doc when I have the money but will it help if I feed him cottage cheese in the mean time? my mom feeds that to her chihuahua when he was sick. would that fix my poor big orange kitty?

Post subject: What is the normal weight of a fully grown Apple Head Siamese Cat? Posted: Fri Jul 24, 2009 3:51 pm |

Ok, I am the proud owner of a purebred Apple Headed Bluepoint Siamese Cat. Her markings were off so she couldn't be sold by the breeder as 'purebred' but she technically is pure. Anyways....She is really fat. Or at least looks it. I weighed her recently and she came up as 13.5 lbs. I just wanted to know if this is normal and if it isn't, how can I get my picky little girl to ...
