I own a canary and was wondering how many hours of sleep should he get. His eyes close around 8-8:30 P.M.

I just got him yesterday. How do I get to hold him? What should i do to gain his trust? How long will I get to hold him?

hello, do green cheek conures make good family pets. I was thinking of getting on. Are they nippy or territorial with their cage. If you own one or have in the past can you please share your experience to give me an idea. I would prefer to get replies from people with experience with this type of bird. thanks

Our canaries hatched eggs and took care of them for about two weeks. She then abandoned them and we hand fed them for two weeks. One of them suddenly died and were not sure what to do with the other. It seems as though it is not eating well. Any advice? We're not sure how to handle the situation. Any tips. Thanks!
