 Post subject: Why does my chinchilla frantically bite the bars on her cage? Is it ok? How can I get her to stop?

About 3 weeks ago I got a 5 month old chinchilla and the last few days she has been frantically naughing and biting on the bars of her cage, what does this mean? Is it ok? How can I get her to stop? - its actually a lil annoying especially late at night.
