I bought my daughter a hamster on black friday (they were discounted) and I need to know how to wrap it up so she can open it up under the christmas tree. It would be disappointing for her to open it dead, so what does a hamster need to survive for a month. I have to wrap it up now, because I can't risk her finding it. If it does die, how would I know it was dead in the package before she opens it up?
