my niece has had dwarf hamsters throughout her whole life almost all of them living well past their max. life expectancy now she wants mice... she got all new supplies and a new cage that would perfectly suit a hamster but i was wondering if that getting 2 mice would be any different than getting 2 dwarf hamsters. if not please let me know of any different behaviour of the two or any extra supplies she might need.

mice are smarter than hamsters so they will need more toys/stuff to do so they dont get bord . The good part to this is you can teach them tricks . I have a rat and he comes when i call his name but i have herd of people teaching them a lot more tricks .
