 Post subject: how long does a guinea pig rumble when introduced to a new guinea pig?

we had two guinea pigs both th same age at 15 weeks unfortunatly the 1 died ( both male ) so we have today bought another companion at 9 weeks of age, they get on ok so far but the older ( 15 week old ) wont stop rumbling and circling him what does this mean? how can we get it to stop and also how long does this last for?
