i am getting a new tropical fish tank around the 50 55 liters i would like to know how many fish i could keep in it and what kind of tropical fish that anyone can recommend

Rummynose tetras no...

rummynose are very active fish and would use every inch of a 3 foot tank anything smaller than that really isnt fair for them.

That tank isnt really big enough for more than one school really Id get maybe 6 or 8 neons and a single centerpeice fish betta dwarf gourami etc..

There are quite a number of different fish you can keep in a tank of this size. Really depends on what sort of fish you really like.

Neons and rummy nose tetras are quite small. You can keep between 20 to 30 of either fish quite comfortably with good filtration and regular water changes.

On the other hand if you like larger fish you will have to drastically reduce the numbers.

How many fish will ultimately depend on the type of fish you are after and what their size will be when they are adults.
