They are only in there temporarily dont freak out. They are very small.
Anyways my pleco has room to grow but he wont. Also they wont go to the top of the water for food. How do i make them do this and what else should i feed them besides tropical fish flakes and algea tablets.

They make some little pellets that fall to the bottom. Be careful about overfeeding. My mom used to overfeed my fish all the time and it really messes up the chemistry of the water nitrates and what not. You only want to feed as much as they can eat in a few minutes.

You cant make fish come to the top of the water to eat. They might adapt to a new way of eating... but it is unlikely.

Supply them with food like sinking pellets algae wafers and fresh veggies.

Your pleco probably goes to the top to feed because hes starving The shark must not leave him much to eat.... Try this..my plecos LOVE IT slice a cucumber in half long ways so it looks like a boat if the pleco is very small cut it into a smaller boat. rubberband it to a rock and sink it in the tank. The pleco will go nuts and it will be gone in a couple days.
