How do I get my dog to just let my kitten get used to his surroundings? The dog will literally follow the kitten around all day and sniff his but and drool. All over. What can I do? I've tried occupying w toys/treats, I've segregated, I've screamed and hollered to no avail. Any other suggestions would seriously help me out here.

i found that crawling around on my knees mewing

then spitting on my dogs face did the trick.

as long as the dog isnt hurting the kitten, jus leave them alone(uless the cat is hissing) after all the kitten has to get used to the dog too right?
he may just be trying to get to know his new friend, and possibly may be helping her out

The dog is bonding with the cat. What's the problem with that? If the dog was going to harm the cat it would have done so by now. Just let them bond, unless your jealous of the dog.
