I had bronchitis a couple weeks ago, and my shy kitty kept snuggling up right next to the side where my lungs hurt the worst. She's been snuggling with me more since then, too. Which makes a bit of sense, because I keep thinking I'm completely well, only to find myself out of breath or coughing from ordinary activities. When my fever was the worst, and I was miserably chilled, the two cats slept right on my feet, so that at least one part of me was warm.
