 Post subject: Should I separate my cat from the rest of the cats if he has a cold?

My cat is going to the vet tomorrow because he's having yellow eye discharge and has started sneezing. It appears that he might have an upper respiratory infection. SHould I separate him from the other cats so that they don't get sick as well?
