We got our younger (female) kitty to keep the older (male) one company, as he always looked sad and lonely when we left to work (we later realised this was just a show to make us feel guilty about working!). Five years later, there's no love lost between these two - the older one's more of a roamer/loaner and the younger one is still playful & wants attention - she tries to play with him but he gets irritated with her. She is a tabby and I am wondering whether getting her a new (female) kitten would solve the problem? Anyone there with some experience?
