How do I stop my cats from jumping onto the stove?

They like to jump on the stove and counter because we use to leave food up there now we don't and haven't for 2 months. I cook with the stove alot and once I had the stove still hot from cooking and one of the cats walked on it and burnt her paw, we took her to the vet but she still wont learn her lesson?

Maybe you should give him a food earlier before you will cook. You should have to train your cat a good manner too. This will save your stove, your food and your pet too.
