 Post subject: How can I keep my dog from eating cat food?

I have had my cat for three years. Yesterday I took in a dog to keep him from going to the pound. He is well behaved and trained, but he likes to eat the cat food. His bowl is full of his own food, but he won't hardly touch it. Is there something I could do to keep him out of the cat food?
