 Post subject: How can I keep a parakeet egg warm that my friend gave me?

My friend gave me one of her parakeet eggs, she has 3 eggs. There would be 5 but 1 broke and I have the other one. I'm trying to hatch it my self. Have any ideas on how to keep it warm or how to incubate it. I'm not sure if its fertalized ethier. But right now I have a 40 watt light over it and a heating under it and it's in wood shavings.
