I've always been interested in owning a cockatoo, but from what I've read, everyone says they turn mean and will take a chunk out of your finger if they get mad enough. Is it really that hard to own these birds? Its not a whim.....i've been interested in owning one for about 10 years now but I keep reading these horror stories about them....and about how they get so loud that your neighbors can hear them..whats the true story about cockatoos?
